Our Church
We are a Southern Baptist Church in rural southeast Iowa. Our membership is made up of people from our community and surrounding communities. We are a multi-generational church. We uphold the Baptists Faith and Message and believe "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17 We practice the church ordinances of baptism by immersion and communion.
Our sanctuary can seat 300-350 people with overflow in our fellowship hall and second level classroom. Our average worship attendance on Sunday is 110. We have a Deacon's ministry assisting the pastor with the needs of the community/congregation. The business of the church is led by a church council made up of committee member heads and officers.
